Questions
What is the difference between the household price and the market price?
The household price is what an average household pays per kWh including network charges and taxes. The market price is the hourly wholesale day-ahead price, which only directly affects your bill on a dynamic tariff.
Where is electricity cheapest and most expensive in Europe?
In our data, Türkiye has the lowest household price at TRY 3.666 per kWh and Ireland the highest at €0.387 per kWh (2026 H1).
Why are some countries grey in live mode?
We only show hourly prices we are licensed to republish. Countries without a licensed source are grey until one is added; their household price is still shown.
